If you have the opportunity to drive your Corvette through even a part of this road it is a worthwhile "Experience".
My navigator/co-pilot swears never to travel with me over this route again. "Sept 2003"
Many car and motorcycle clubs travel great distances to run this road.

In the Texas Hill Country there exists THE THREE SISTERS winding
roads (Texas own Tail of the Dragon roads)
15 Legends members spent a few days traveling across the back-country roads
taking in the sights and local cuisine.
In April 2008 we spent three days roaming the Hill country, observing the Blue
Bonnets, and natural trees and outcroppings. What a beautiful and enjoyable
trip.
Saturday night our return trip from Dinner at Fredericksburg to our Y.O. Ranch
lodging in Kerrville the group was caught out in a Spring Hail Storm,
it hailed (dime size, quarter size, or larger) on our cars the entire 20-mile
return trip back to the lodge.
It was amazing that there was no damaged cars. I am particular-and-protective of
my paint and finish,
I was sure after all that hail my paint would be beaten off... no damage, Now I
just say they are tough cars.
